PEACE Joins The White Dress Project

Stories, reflection, and celebration took center stage this July as the PEACE team joined The White Dress Project’s annual Empowerment Experience in Atlanta.  At our ‘Wellness Studio,” and all weekend long, attendees could pause with us to “Draw (Their) Fibroid Journey,” “Write a Letter” to their fibroids, share a thought on our “Uterus Wall,” and – of course – leave with a few informative trinkets. The PEACE team also had a few special moments of celebration: PEACE Pilot Grantee, Taneka Jones (PhD), received the inaugural PEACE Emerging Blossom Award and PEACE Principal Investigator Ganesa Wegienka, PhD, was honored as a 2026 WDP Blossom Award recipient – both high points testifying to the depth of expertise and impact of our team.
